Never forget, never forgive - 15mm Dark Angels

Whoa... that was a quick one. After two days of printing and painting, I have five Dark Angels ready for battle. On my desk there are Assault troops, Devastators, Dreads, Rhinos and Death Wing Terminators... I still cannot believe how that printer and 15mm scale have put my favourite hobby to a level that I could only dream of. I am very happy with the highlighting this time and I hope to do another five this week.

  1. Beautiful work on the 15mm Marines and I look forward to seeing the force develop!

3D printing seems to be revolutionising the whole hobby and allowing folks previously unseen creativity and flexibility!

I'd love to get one for myself but am an utter luddite so suspect it would bamboozle me.

    1. It is really easy. I was a total noob, but now I support the miniatures myself, receiving better and better prints. But fortunately you do not even need a printer, since you are so good in sculpting! :)

    1. Did I ever tell you that you will be MUCH quicker with finishing ALL of your projects, no matter how much you have allready done in 28mm? Since my restart in 2018 I have painted 500 miniatures (maybe more). I would never have managed with the bigger ones. You are nearly ready, Suber... come... stop fighting... take your light saber, kill all of your 28mm ambitions and together we will rule the galaxy!!! :D

    1. What I paid for the machine and the resin so far is a joke. Thanks a lot, Ben! :)

  6. These 3D printed marines look so good, thanks to your excellent brushwork and the print it's even hard to tell they are 15mm. Looks brilliant mate, always such a pleasure to see more if your work.

  8. Brilliant paint job! We really like the combination of red / black of some parts with the green (aquamarine?) of most of the armor. We agree with the very effective success of the highlights. Very good!
