4x Molnya Class Frigates
3x Stoykiy Class Destroyers
2x Isakov Class Light Cruisers
1x Zhukov Class Battleship
I will use them for Full Thrust and maybe also for Colonial Battlefleet from Steel Dreadnought Games, if I manage to get a cheap hex mat.
What to do if you have countless unfinished projects in the painting queue? Start another project from zero! This time I have to do somethi...
These look great! Nice work.
AntwortenLöschenThanks, Sean!
LöschenThese are so nice! The only space ships game I've ever tried is Battlefleet Gothic, but every time I see this other kind of ships I always drool all over. I like these a lot!
AntwortenLöschenThanks, Suber! I thought about BG myself, but after painting all those WH40K-related stuff over the years, I decided I need something else. Still love the models though. :)
LöschenLove the flying brick look to these beasties, very worker's paradise! You know you can tie these in with your 15s the way we used to here. Start out with a fleet battle (we used Full Thrust)for control of the system, then used Stargrunt II (in 15mm) for any special Ops missions, then lastly we would do the big planetary battle with Dirtside II in 6mm.
AntwortenLöschenSounds great, Don! I'll surely do that when the kids have left the house... in twenty years or so! ;)
LöschenI like them a lot, they have a bit of a movie-style look to them.
AntwortenLöschenJust like you I've sold of most of my Firestorm Armada models but decided to stick to Space Fleet/BFG. Love to hear your view on Full Thrust, it's a game I've got a few fleets for and I've been close to ordering the 2nd edition box a few times.
Thanks Wouter! I have the box. It's a bit useless if you allready have the ships. The FT Light rules are more like a teaser for the real stuff. I will use the Continuum rules.
LöschenThese are great looking ships! Very crisp painting.
