Heroquest with random Dungeons

I had a first try with random Dungeon Generator for Heroquest. I borrowed some ideas from Dungeon Universalis, League of Dungeoneers and Warhammer Quest. My mixture worked surprisingly well and we're going to play in a group with two dads and two 9 year olds quite soon. Fully Co-op, no Zargon needed anymore! 

Oooops, I did it again...

 ...I finished a team that's going to win!

15mm Blitz Bowl put me in a state of fever and painting teams is tempting when you can finish two per week. This time it's the Dwarves, coming from Zombiesmith's Portaball line. The pictures on their website didn't reveal much, you have to guesstimate the quality. But I have to say, Joshua is a nice guy and I'm very happy with the stuff I bought. Well yes... of course, I bought all seven teams. 

So, here they are. The Kazad-Dûm Krushers are on the pitch! 

P.S. I remixed and 3D-printed a diceholder to keep track of the score!  

Let's add some characters

I've been knee-deep in 6mm for weeks now. From time to time I threw in a single 15mm to get a liile change of pace. This way I will build up a collection of fantasy characters for Hero Quest, Talisman, Runebound and RPGs in general. The first five are finished now: The Ranger, the Wizch, the Wizard, the Dwarf and the Warrior. If I want to complete a 15mm set for Talisman there's only 45 more to paint! ;)

The witch is from Blue Moon Miniatures, the rest is Ral Partha's Demonworld line.

It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it.

My human mercenary warband for SoBaH and other fantasy skirmishes. Lead by a fallen knight and a battlemage they'll do whatever you pay them for. Swordsmen, Archers and a half-civilized ogre deliver the necessary muscle. I might add some mounted guys and dogs, but for the moment I'm happy. All figures are Demonworld, the ogre is from Alternative Armies.

Something to die for

Back from holidays and hopefully doing much more posts in the weeks to come. I finished some new terrain features and Demonworld Mercenaries defending them. The houses are from Alternative Armies - a little bit on the small side, but I'm happy with them. Finally something that makes a good objective to destroy or protect.

The big, the bad and the ugly

This couldn't wait. Fresh from the painting table and both done in one day. A Chaos Warlord from Demonworld and an old Epic Great Unclean one from Games Workshop. Those 6mm Greater Daemons work perfectly in 15mm - good thing I have all of them and the Primarchs as well!

 

Let there be Chaos!

I managed to work on my Chaos warband. I mixed Alternative Armies and Demonworld stuff for the Warriors, the Sorcerer and the Minotaur. All Cultist miniatures come from CP Models. I'm quite happy with how thex mix as a group.
Also I added lots of scenery to my dungeon which came mostly from Alternative Armies again. I really hope that furniture from Battlevalor is going to arrive soon!

WAAAAAAGH! Here'z da greenskinz!

Another major fantasy race is ready for play. Orcs, Goblins and a mighty Troll from Demonworld and Alternative Armies. Enough to play all base scenarios from HeroQuest. Next are Chaos Cultists, Mummies and much more dungeon interiors.

I can see dead people

No dungeon without the undead! First five skeletons and some zombies, all from Ral Partha's Blight Haven / Demonworld range. After that it's time for the greenskins!
