15mm Genestealer Cult

Well, I allready had the tyranid-like bugs, so I decided to give them a cult following too. Rebel Minis Sahadeen seemed to be a perfect match, I just had to add a Kremlin Miniatures Magus. The Rebel War Maidens present my Hybrids. I sculpted a third arm with Genestealer Claws on every miniature. The Matchbox Swat Truck is my Goliath proxy.
I will expand the army in the near future, I allready have some more minis, weapon teams and vehicles. But who will sculpt a Not-Patriarch for me?? I really hope Slap Minis might do something like this one day. Or maybe I will take one of those Epic Carnifexes and start a conversion...

    1. Thanks a lot, Fran. But honestly not so much. The results are of mixed quality, but will do for now. I still have hope that a professional will release proper miniatures for this in the future. :)

  2. Nice sculpting! Those metal familiars work brilliantly at this scale. I really like the vehicle too!

  3. Very nice colors - not sure how you keep things so bright at 15mm. I really dig the Cult van too!

    1. Thanks, Mezmaron! In this case I did with 25 years old Tentacle Pink. How I love those old Citadel colours!

  4. This is such a great job - love them. I hadn't realised how good those familiars were for 15mm, I've just bought some on eBay! Your blog is great btw - followed!

    1. Wow, thanks a lot! This really means something to me, since your work has been a great inspiration. Especially your NSL Panzer Grenadiers made me want to try 15mm and your Brethren of the New Light gave me the idea for this Cult!

    2. Never found a button to follow your blog by the way... how do I do?

    3. Oh wow, that's kind! Well it's come full circle because I'm stealing this idea!

D'you know, I'm not sure - my blog is a wordpress one, so you'd need a wordpress account or an RSS reader. Are you on Instagram? I post on there as @bladesandblastersminis a lot too.

    4. I'm too old school, I fear. No Insta no wordpress. I will simply bookmark your blog and have a look there from time to time and place my posts. :)

  5. These are truly remarkable! You may think your conversion's a bit dicey, but TBH they look like the real deal!

I also have a bottle of tentacle pink that just might be that old... I don't even remember when I got it :D

  6. Thanks, Allison! Back in the day GW made great inspirational games and colour pots that don't dry out after three weeks. The young dudes won't believe us... ;)

  7. I really love this setting Skully. The photo's looks like they could be screenshots taken from a sequel to a Syndicate game that we never got. Really cool stuff man :)

  8. Hey! Awesome project. I love your use of colors and the brightness of the cult.
I did try something very similar a couple of years ago.

    1. I drew much inspiration out of your posts on LAF, Florian. I knew your work before I began working on my own cult. Thanks for your offer about the patriarch, but I allready got hold of him. :)
